To select the correct size of steam generator, add the cubic footage of the shower
with the appropriate adjustment to determine the calculated cubic footage:
1. Length x Width x Height = CUBIC FOOTAGE. Do not deduct for seati ng.
2. Add appropriate adjustment to account for heat loss through materials:

Supply and install one only CSA approved, pre-tested, automatic, electric, Relax-A-Mist® steam bath generator complete with
internal switching and digital control. See our pricing guides for part numbers and available finishes and controls.
1. The steam unit shall be a Relax-A-Mist® model JR-3
rated at 240 Volts AC, 60 hz, 1 Phase power.
2. The appliance shall be assembled and wired at the
factory, ready for the connection of power supply and
ground wires, control switch, water supply, steam line
piping, and any optional accessories.
3. The appliance shall be supplied complete with:
a) A 16 gauge powder coated steel outer jacket with:
▪ 1 inch of insulation surrounding the inner copper
boiling tank
▪ separate boiling tank, supply voltage and low
voltage compartments
▪ bonding to a copper grounding lug
b) The water boiling tank is to be:
▪ made of a non-ferrous copper material that is
electrolytically compatible with copper piping,
and the electric heater element fastened to the
steel outer jacket with legs
▪ a dual chamber for boiling and controlling the
water level
▪ bonded to a copper grounding lug
c) A 240 Volt copper sheath immersion heater
element, mounted in a copper pan assembly with
an element thermal protection device.
e) An electronic water level control device
with no moving parts inside the boiling tank
compartments.
f) A low water heater cutoff.
g) One only, water resistant digital timer switch
(plug and play) with numeric display, maximum
60 minutes, counts down to 1 minute and
automatically turns off. Includes an 22 gauge solid
copper wire plug and play cord set, bonded to a
copper grounding lug.
h) All controls protected by a transformer and 1 amp
fuses.
i) All non-current carrying metal parts are bonded to
a copper grounding lug.
j) Two plated zinc die cast steam nozzles with a
minimum ½ inch diameter flow-through capacity
and a ¾ inch discharge capacity; complete with a
collar that fits the escutcheon to accommodate
various brass nipple installation lengths. The
nozzles include an aromatic scent well and diffuser
passage.
k) Two plated zinc die cast escutcheons, sized to
accommodate the steam nozzle adjustment collar.
l) A non-pressurized safety flow steam system.
m) A ¾ inch drain line for the optional connection of a
manual or electric drain valve.
n) Two brass unions to connect steam piping.
o) One hose connection: brass union to ⅜” copper
tubing to connect the water supply.
p) Complete written installation instructions with
diagrams.
Returns Policy
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
